It's hard to explain where I got the idea for Catharsis Experiment, it simply popped up from a less visited part of my mind.
I've always wanted to produce a horror film that takes place in China, something that rarely happens within the horror film genre. The plot of Catharsis Experiment is about a Chinese American immigrant traveling back to the town where he was born, to find the cure for his infection. Little to what he knew, a major catastrophe have turned his home town into a horrifying nightmare...
Catharsis Experiment is my very own experiment on telling a twisted nightmare (based on my very own traumatic memories) through a combination of stop motion animation live action and miniature sceneries.
As of now the production of Catharsis Experiment have been postponed due to many changes in life, I do plan on making it into a first person adventure horror game in the future.

RECOVERED PROPS
A single "life-size" prop weapon was made for this production (but never used). Since I plan on making it into a video game rather than a mixed media film, there's no need for this prop in the end. It has been modified and donated to a local prop house for cosplay.
